The Immersion Project

Our immersion programmes offer your students the opportunity to actively participate in environmental projects.
Our aim is to provide a hands-on, student directed approach to enable in-depth learning processes to take place. The projects your students will undertake will have a direct benefit to the conservation goals of the New Zealand Conservation Trust.

Student’s from schools in partnership with a group from I.D.E.A. are working together to design and create a sustainable, organic food garden to feed the animals at the reserve.

This group has cleared the ground, designed and constructed a fence, researched foods to grow, planted the beginnings of an orchard, designed and built garden beds, raised seedlings and much more. There are spaces available on this project, whether you might like to bring your group in for a day, a term or a timeframe to suit.
