Seabright Bantam

ORIGIN: Britain
BREED DESCRIPTION: The Seabright is one of the oldest British breeds, being created by the baronet, Sir John Seabright well over 150 years ago. There are two varieties, the Golds and the Silvers, both very charming birds to look at, and quite unique in build and colour.
USE IN NEW ZEALAND: Eggs, show, brooding.
GENERAL: The Seabright, another ornamental bantam, was produced in Britain about 1800; the cock bird is 'hen feathered,' that is, it has no neck hackles or tail sickles.
