Final kiwi breeding numbers for 2007/08

Issue Date: 9 June 2008

This past season has been the most successful breeding season ever. The previous season we were able to release 16 kiwis back into the wild. This season the numbers increased to 46 kiwis.
This number comprised of 17 Haast Kiwis, 36 Okarito kiwis and 3 GSK kiwi. All indications point to this comming season as being an even bigger one
