The big clean up

We are getting ready for the new Kiwi breeding season. This means a thorough wiping of every wall, ceiling, bench top and piece of equipment using a disinfectant. All the brooder boxes have had a liner and plugs inserted to make cleaning easier as well as being more hygenic.
We are always looking at ways to improve the facility and are currently installing air conditioners into two of our brooder rooms to make the environment more comfortable for the chicks on hot days. Our thanks go to Pub Charity for providing the funds for these air conditioners.
