Conservation Projects

We operate a number of captive breeding programmes currently based at Willowbank Wildlife Reserve.

One of our main objectives is to breed and conserve rare and endangered species of animals, birds and plants and in particular those that are appropriate to New Zealand.

We have a proven record of being successful in promoting and conserving endangered species, particularly in respect of our endangered national icon, the kiwi.
